Vantari VR is Virtual Reality for Healthcare. Our technology provides transformative software applications for Doctors and Patients as we bring to life medical imaging and the human body. We build tools to enable better visualisation, interpretation and understanding of medical images. From data acquisition to treatment planning, to medical education and patient consultation, we are there.
Founded in 2017 by two doctors, Vantari VR is one of the leading healthcare startups in the country, with a distinct brand and traction in the healthcare community. Our business has completed accelerator programs with NSW Health and medical insurer HCF, and has successful partnerships with Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and Westmead Hospital in Sydney.
The candidate will be required to work both autonomously and collaboratively to build and deliver products within the constraints of the business. This requires you to be agile and have the skillset to work successfully across the entire Software Development Lifecycle. We require someone with initiative, the ability to problem solve quickly and a “can do” attitude.
The role will be an initial 2-3 days/week, which we aim to transition into a full-time role within 6 months. You will be working in a small, fast-paced team with direct reporting to the CTO and founders of the company.
Key Requirements · Tertiary qualification in Engineering or Computer Science preferred · Experience covering the entire software development lifecycle and successful delivery of software products · Strong background in computer graphics and/or GPU compute, ideally in direct volume visualisation · Strong focus on software quality, reliability and performance · Experience with medical imaging and/or direct volume visualisation (specifically raycasting) would be highly advantageous · Exposure to modern VR platforms would be highly advantageous
