Job description

The Online Content Coordinator will oversee the production of content relevant to their assigned events. Training provided from Day 1! They work in an intense, multimedia environment -- writing, editing, creating podcasts, shooting video, blogging, engaging in social media and attending live cross industry B2B events! They are the centre of vibrant, online and real-world communities -- managing outside contributors, finding new sources, creating content and engaging with potential customers!

Your role

  • Create multimedia components, interacts in social-media environments; meets deadlines; measures productivity and manages priorities
  • Edit and post content rapidly and often without oversight to enforced deadlines
  • Work independently when required, but participates with the rest of the IQPC team in structuring content and crafting larger projects
  • Build relationships with stakeholders across various industries generate content
  • Creates original content i.e. reports, articles, Q&A’s, and e-books in line with the marketing and content strategy
  • Actively sources relevant content from key influencers and market vendors
  • Constantly looking for ideas about future innovative and engaging content

Your experience

  • Knowledge of basic business concepts and commerciality is essential
  • Previous participation in social media and Web-based content generation is required
  • Familiarity with journalistic norms, multimedia production, video editing, and Web-friendly writing are required
  • The perfect candidate will also have previous experience with Web, mobile, social-media and E-mail metrics and be able to operate standard analytics programs

Your skills

  • Marketing / Communications Degree or equivalent as well experience in journalism, marketing, communications or a similar field
  • Online Content Coordinators should have a proven track record in a similar field
