Job description

· Part Time (40hr/ Month - initially) · Remote Flexible Work · Welcoming and Supportive Team Culture   ParaFlare are a respected and trusted IT Security Systems Integrator that provides IT Security consultancy, implementation, integration, and support services to Financial Services, Commercial and Government organisations on IT Security solutions and Cloud based implementations.   www.paraflare.com   Due to strong growth, the company is currently looking to hire a Junior/Graduate Security Engineer who has the passion in IT Security and has the genuine desire to learn and grow within the industry.   The company will provide training and development on IT Security work with the view to evolve into Senior Security Engineer role with many opportunities to work on security projects and solutions.   Key Responsibilities: · Conduct periodic checks and investigations as part of a Managed Detection and Response Team (MDRS) · Assist in providing IT security services including monitoring, implementation, phishing campaigns and support for Enterprise customers across private and public sectors. · Develop a good understanding of End Point Security, SIEM, Firewalls, Access Control, and Log Management technologies. · Assists in providing engineering analysis and support for firewalls, routers, networks and operating systems. · Undertaking tasks such as technical analysis, diagnosis and problem solving. · Perform analysis of log files from multiple different devices and environments, and identify indicators of security threats. · Review and recommend the installation, modification or replacement of hardware or software components and any configuration change(s) that affects security. Key Requirements: · Bachelor's degree or relevant industry qualifications. · Excellent analytical skills and commercial awareness · Basic knowledge on IT Security, Network Security, and Cloud based implementations. · Basic knowledge in the following areas will be a plus: XML, HTML, Phyton, P
