Ribit and The Studio invite you to a networking event to connect women leaders and students in a warm and supportive social environment.
This event is open to women students from all universities, TAFE and business and industry colleges across a range of skill sets including technical, marketing, admin, research, business and finance.
The Studio has invited four female entrepreneurs from regional NSW to share their stories on the night.
Julie Aldridge is the owner of Avide eLearning, a Coffs Harbour based company, specialising in software development and large scale corporate, government and RTO edTech implementations. With a career spanning over twenty years in the technology and creative media space, Julie is a passionate advocate of the benefits of being a female business owner in a regional location.
Kylee Ingram is an entrepreneur and digital content/TV producer. She has produced content for all free-to-air Australian broadcasters, her shows screened in over 100 countries and her interactive projects have achieved outstanding international marketplace recognition.
Kylee has been Entrepreneur in Residence, teaching innovation and entrepreneurship to startups and businesses. She also runs a masterclass for AFTRS in entrepreneurship.
Valentina Borbone is the owner of, Banter Group (full-service marketing agency) Speak Group (digital marketing training company), and is an industry expert advisor for the International Social Media Association (ISMA). She has also taught Digital Marketing for blue-chip organisations and small businesses since 2008.
Within a year of relocating to regional NSW, Valentina established a fast-growing business with 8 employees.
Irene Lemon is co-founder and Managing Director of Magic Electricity Box, a music publishing social enterprise. Their mission is to support independent songwriters with diverse backgrounds to increase the diversity of the Australian music industry. In 2017, Magic Electricity Box was awarded the Startup Superstar Award from the Armidale Regional Business Chamber, was a regional finalist for the NSW Business Chamber Awards.
Irene has secured over AU$40 million for regional communities, across various industries from community arts to small business entrepreneurship, education and training to technology and social impact.
