Wow! This was a popular event. We have now reached capacity and closed student online registrations.
CSIRO’s Data61 are hosting a data innovation event - D61+ LIVE - in Melbourne. As part of the event, Ribit.net will feature a pop-up ‘lite’ version networking for jobs session to connect companies, startups and government agencies directly with university students seeking internships, projects or part time roles.
Around 100 startups and organisations such as the ABC, Australia Post, ANZ Bank, NBN Co, Oracle, Optus, Salesforce, Samsung, Siemens and Telstra have been invited to attend the LIVE event. Some of these are looking for students and attending the networking session.
This event offers you the chance to meet company leaders and find part-time roles and/or internships through speed-networking. This is a great way to meet a range of businesses looking for students with STEM and digital skills across a range of sectors and who are very keen to engage student talent.
Students studying STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics), and also business, marketing, finance. Also students with advanced research interests and skills. Undergraduate, Masters and PhD students.
We have now reached capacity and closed student online registrations.
If you have a Ribit profile ensure it is complete. If you are a new user, you also need to create a student profile to be eligible for the event
Registration closes MIDNIGHT Wednesday 21 June or before if capacity is reached.
As there are a limited number of slots, we may need to shortlist students who most appropriately match businesses’ requirements. You can increase your chances by completing your profile. In particular, highlight the sort of work opportunities and subject areas you are interested in.
Students will be informed if they have a confirmed place the week before the event.
This is free session
